I'm 5 months pregnant and just fired from my job last month because of being late due to being sick. I also was under FLMA but have no money to hire an attorney to look into suing this company for putting me in this position. Does anyone know of any at home jobs that I am able to work from Baton Rouge, LA? I have no car and if I did the first job I would get outside the home I would have to leave in about 4 months to go on my leave. Any help that can be given will be greatly appreciated!!!

With the advent of the internet, many people learned they can make money by inventing or providing an interesting, fun, or useful product or service and then getting the word out for free on the internet. I've read stories about KIDS making TENS OF THOUSANDS marketing cute pencil toppers or unusually-scented candles. Or, you could buy products at wholesale prices and then sell them (either on a web site or on ebay) at a higher price. Another suggestion would be to watch other people's kids in addition to yours, in your home. If this is your first child, though, you might want to keep in mind how VERY much time it takes to keep an infant happy and healthy. There is VERY, VERY little "spare time" the first three years. If you have ANY time when the child is napping, you are probably going to need that time to rest yourself. If you're strapped for cash and don't have a spouse who can support you, maybe you could move in with an understanding relative. If you do want to try an at-home job that is advertised, first check them out with the Better Business Bureau. (Google their web site.) Best of luck to you!
